We partner with retail companies to help fundraiser for OVO. When you shop with these retailers or use these programs we receive a portion of your total purchase price in return.
Box Tops for Education
Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10¢ for your school!
There are two ways to redeem Box Tops.
Option 1 - cut out the box tops from eligible purchases. Turn in your box tops in the school workroom "Box Tops" cubby. And we will take are of the rest.
Option 2 - All you need is your phone! Download the Box tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify box tops products on your receipt and automatically credit Orangevale Open K-8 earnings online. Twice a year, OVO will receive a check and can use that cash to buy whatever it needs.

How proceeds are used
School Wide Fundraisers
Proceeds from school wide fundraisers are used to support grade level funding for all grades . Funds are divided between the grades using a funding rubric.

Grade Level Fundraisers
Grade level fundraisers are those that are participated in by one or more grade. Proceeds from these fundraisers are tracked by the grade and funding raised by each grade is kept by that grade.

Families To Families Fund
The Families to Families Fund was created to benefit members of the Orangevale Open Community in times of need. Each year the PTSO stewards a fundraising event to help raise money for the fund. Recipients can be nominated by a teachers, staff members or fellow OVO community members.
